A little about Asus

The name ASUS originates from Pegasus, the winged horse of Greek mythology. Only the last four letters of the word Pegasus were used in order to give the name a high position in alphabetical listings.

Inspired by the diverse needs of consumers in all areas and phases of life, ASUS' foremost mission is to deliver truly innovative solutions that in turn inspire consumers to reach for greater heights of productivity and fun. By leveraging its intimate understanding of the requirements of today's digital home, digital office and digital person, ASUS has the honor of claiming many world's firsts—such as the introduction of the groundbreaking Eee PC™, the ingenious use of renewable materials like leather and bamboo in notebooks and the incorporation of its proprietary power-saving Super Hybrid Engine technology into its notebooks and motherboards.
Lenovo, was founded in Beijing in 1984 as a company roughly translated to New Legend and was incorporated in Hong Kong in 1988. Lenovo acquired IBM's personal computer business in 2005 and agreed to acquire its Intel-based server business in 2014. Lenovo has a reputation for making solid, smooth and distinguished work machines.
